ACF believes in bringing people together to celebrate diversity, the magic of mother earth, our unique relationship with self and others, and the transformative result of breaking down barriers to accessibility.
ACF is able to provide a variety of free retreats and festivals where participants can engage in activities such as: all abilities yoga, therapeutic painting, guided nature walks, planting classes, mindfulness techniques, biofeedback, adaptive hunting, eco therapy, meditation, and more.
We also award scholarships for workshop retreats, as well as educational programs in restorative destinations, where participants learn to harness the healing power of modern health technologies such as biofeedback, mindfulness, and compassion-based strategies in an innovative approach to hack resilience in our own lives. If you or someone you know is interested in attending a workshop or retreat and need assistance with funding, please reach out to us for more information.
ACF hosts a variety of fundraising events such as galas and silent auctions. These events are not only a great excuse to have fun, but they are also fantastic ways to raise money and awareness for Aimee Copeland Foundation.
One of the most impactful programs to have come out of ACF thus far is the All Terrain Georgia program. This program, in partnership with the Georgia Department of Natural Resources, provides free all-terrain wheelchairs to certified participants to explore 11 different state parks throughout the beautiful state of Georgia. ACF anticipates and plans for further expansion with this program and has also inspired several neighboring states to begin development of similar programs for increased accessibility.
Aimee Copeland Foundation envisions the expansion of current and existing programs and events for increased impact and accessibility. But, we need people like you to help!
