The Aimee Copeland Foundation is announcing the first of a series of FREE adaptive Wellness Retreats that will be open to community members of all ages and abilities. Registration starts at 2:30 pm. The event is free and is open to the public. The first twenty five attendees will receive a free water bottle and the first ten will receive a free t-shirt. All attendees will have the chance to win two free round trip tickets, donated by Delta Airlines.
The Aimee Copeland Foundation believes that mind, body, and spirit are one, that the magic of the outdoors can transform physical, mental and spiritual health, that we are all imperfectly perfect, and that everyone deserves the chance to play, contribute and thrive. With that in mind, we are introducing our Eudamonium Retreat Series.
Eudamonium Wellness Retreats are intended to create a space for participants to connect with the Community, the Earth and the Self. Eudamonium, meaning “human flourishing,” is the vision of each event. Participants will engage in activities and exercises designed to excite the senses, relax the body, and increase self awareness, all in a format that encourages community and mutual support. Activities may include yoga, gardening, mindfulness practices, and arts and crafts. Please wear comfortable clothing.
