How WONDERFUL! I love seeing how Aimee is evolving and integrating her personal growth with her mission to help others grow. My daughter, Jasmin Floyd, was born with a very rare, not-inherited, bone disorder, FOP (www.ifopa.org: FOP is caused by a spontaneous genetic mutation at conception) and she is currently quarantined now in an assisted living facility since mid-March, 2020, and she hasn’t been able to see any of her friends or her mother since then, even missing her 27th birthday at the end of May. She can no longer walk without assistance and the excessive bone growth has limited much of the movement throughout her body, making her very dependent on caregivers. Jasmin maintains a positive attitude and her blog is: http://www.jasminfloyd.com (One Spirit, Two Skeletons). When the Covid19 Pandemic arrived, Jasmin was in the process of getting fitted for a wheelchair, but now that is delayed so she will continue to be unable to transition to living with her mother again for quite some time after Connecticut loosens its lockdown. Prayers for Jasmin are greatly appreciated. Jasmin’s Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/jasminariel
Thanks, Aimee for all you do and for inspiring so many others. It’s so hard to accept how a simple accident could have such consequences. Your story moves me deeply, and your motivation is a very powerful light for everyone to see.
